What are the aims of Utipulp ?

UTIPULP is the name of a European Association representing the: "Group of European Market Wood Pulp Users". It was created in 1979, although prior to this was another organisation which performed the same function.

UTIPULP is a non-profit Association governed by the Belgian law established on the 25th October 1919.

UTIPULP is administered by an Executive Committee and its Secretary. This Committee is headed by a Chairman and a Vice Chairman each of which is elected for a 2 year period.

 

 

Membership

 

 

The members are the National Associations representing the European Paper & Board Industry. through their groups or committees of market pulp users. Single companies cannot be members of Utipulp.

There are curently 11 members: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

There are normally 2 General Assemblies per year: these are held at various locations within the member countries.

 

 

What are the aims of Utipulp ?

 

 

The aims of UTIPULP are :

  • To gather its own statistics and make them public in order to raise transparency and to contribute to an overall better understanding of the market in the interest of the whole industry.
  • To exchange non-confidential information and experience in pulp and paper Industry in all its aspects (technical, environmental...)
